Rethink Resilience Project

Preventative interventions to promote and develop positive coping strategies in an increasingly stressful and challenging environment.

The #Rethink Project is a lottery funded 3 year partnership programme led by ARC Healthy Living Centre, Business in the Community and Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum. Its aim is to help build resilience within local communities by delivering upstream preventative interventions to promote and develop positive coping strategies in an increasingly stressful and challenging environment.

This project will deliver 6 Session courses as an early intervention and education programme taking a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based approach for those aged over 25 who live within the WHSCT area.

The project will also raise awareness of the importance of staying connected for good mental wellbeing by providing volunteering and training opportunities for local people and annually organise a connectedness campaign across the region focusing on building resilient communities.
