STAFF PROFILES
There are currently seven staff with the Health Forum, while we also host three staff members from Foyle Health & Social Services Trust as part of the Community Challenge for Oral Health.

TONY DOHERTY
Manager
Tony has been Manager of the Health Forum since his appointment in April 2002. Tony is a founder of Bogside & Brandywell Initiative. He was chiefly responsible for the development of the Gasyard Site between 1996 and 2002 and takes an active involvement in Dove House Community Trust, Gaelscoil Éadain Mhóir and An Gaelarás. Tony is an active member of the Investing for Health Partnership representing Healthy Living Centres in the Western Board area and he currently chairs the Later Years Sub Group.
KAREN MULLAN
Programme Planner
Karen has been employed as Programme Planner with the Health Forum since September 2005. Previous to this she held the post of Administration and Finance Officer with the Health Forum since October 2002. Karen was previously employed through the Western Education & Library Board as Administrator with Pilot’s Row Community Centre from 1995 until 2002. She is a member of the Investing for Health’s Health Promoting Homes Steering Group and takes an active involvement in the Bogside & Brandywell Women’s Group and Estate Services.
MARY BRESLIN
Co-ordinator of Nutrition & Older People
Mary is primarily responsible for the development of food and nutrition based programmes and has successfully piloted The Monday Club for the elderly since October 03. Until she joined the Health Forum in February 2002 Mary was a self-employed caterer in Derry.
SÉAMUS WARD
Finance & Administration Manager
Séamus has been with the Health Forum since September 2005. He was previously employed in a similar capacity for Creggan Neighbourhood Partnership from 2001 to 2006 and also worked part-time with Derry Credit Union between 2000-2006.
JENNIFER O'BRIEN
Oral Health Co-ordinator
Jennifer has been based at the Health Forum since November 2005 and is employed by Western Health and Social Services Trust. Since qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 1982, she had held the post of Dental Nurse and Oral Health Educator with the Foyle Trust Community Dental Team until Oct.2005. She is a member of the Investing for Health in Schools Initiative and the Smart Snacks Award Steering Group.
DONNA HUTTON
Exercise Referral Co-ordinator
A qualified fitness instructor who has been working in the fitness industry for past seven years, Donna has been involved with Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum for past two years co-ordinating various exercise classes. She has been recently appointed to the post of Exercise Referral Co-ordinator with BBHF. Here she will be working closely with people that have life limiting conditions such as diabetes and obesity and devising personalised exercise programs for improvement of their health and well-being.
